About this project

The aim of the FO-ledR&I programme is to strengthen farmers and grassroots/regional/continental farmers organisations (FOs) capacities to formulate research questions, tap into local knowledge, build partnerships, access resources, and mobilize necessary competencies to experiment and innovate at scale and thus to contribute and drive the agroecological transition for more productive and resilient food systems.The main goal of this action is to secure a transition towards resilient and sustainable agroecological productivity and food systems through farmer-led innovation and research. The programmes objectives are: O1: Improved active promotion and influencing of other stakeholders on issues related to farmer led action research on innovative agroecological approaches;O2: Enhanced FO and partner entities' organizational effectiveness to support farmer-led agroecological innovation;O3: Increased local farmer know-how to apply agroecological approaches and to innovate for sustainable and resilient agricultural productivity
