About this project

<p class="ql-align-justify">The <u>overall objective</u> (Impact) to which this action contributes is to assist the National Treasury and the EU to attain its objectives under IIPSA programme towards the promotion of essential infrastructure investments in South Africa and in the South African Development Community (SADC) Region in various sectors, which serve the needs of the financial beneficiaries, while promoting sustainable growth and action on climate change.</p><p>The <u>specific objective</u> (Outcome) of this contract is t<span style="color: black;">o support the National Treasury and the EU in establishing and updating a credible infrastructure project pipeline, including the logistical and technical support to IIPSA Project Selection Committee (PSC) f</span>or the part of IIPSA not entrusted to DBSA acting as IIPSA Fund Manager/Secretariat.</p><p>The <u>expected outputs</u> of this contract are as follows:</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<span style="color: black;">Output 1: well ¿established and functioning IIPSA project selection, including documentation and logistics;</span></p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Output 2: <span style="color: black;">effective and efficient IIPSA technical project appraisal and project preparation, including relevant technical advice</span><strong style="color: black;"> </strong><span style="color: black;">and </span>coordination amongst all stakeholders;</p><p><span style="color: black;">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Output 3: well-f…
