About this project

WWF has been taking a leading role in financial analysis about the recuperation of degraded lands. They have been looking at the financial incentives required (eg. concessional loans over a longer period) to make the recuperation of degraded lands a business. WWF has worked with Brazilian and European (FMO) financial institutions on this topic. They are in the process of identifying an area for work on the ground within the Amazon biome, again linked related activities they have been doing there already.
