About this project

In a Team Europe approach, the proposed investment programme will provide affordable financing to sovereign, sub-sovereign and sovereign guaranteed public sector counterparts in the Caribbean for investments in security of water supply, wastewater collection and treatment, storm-water management and solid waste management. The programme will help strengthen climate resilience, improve public health, support environmental protection and a healthy ocean, and contribute to the regions post-pandemic economic recovery in a visible and impactful manner. Potential for EIB to finance projects through the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) for smaller projects will also be explored.
