About this project

Contract related to: Integrated National Financing Frameworks (INFFs) - UNDP/UNDESA - This is the PHASE 2 of a previous ACT- 60952.In order to help countries strengthen their planning processes and overcome impediments to financing sustainable development at country level, this action will provide global support to financing strategies to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Paris Agreement objectives and to finance a sustainable and inclusive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. INFFs help countries strengthen planning processes and overcome existing impediments to financing sustainable development and the SDGs at the country level. INFFs provide a holistic approach by supporting countries to get a full overview of international and domestic sources of funding, both public and private. Since 2019, the EU has been playing a leading role in supporting INFFs and building an INFF multilateral initiative together with UN partners and the IMF.The action aims to contribute to mobilise and align financing with sustainable development priorities to achieve the SDGs and promote a green and inclusive recovery by supporting Integrated National Financing Frameworks.
