About this project

Contract inherited from multiple actions, related to: Support to EU-Somali Dialogue on Investments and Trade - This Action aims to address some of the key economic and financial governance issues that are constraining faster economic development in Somalia. The intervention encompasses two broad strategies, the first one being to strengthen financial accountability and countering endemic corruption, as a way to improve Somali citizens¿ trust in the new state structures (both at federal and state levels), and the second strategy aims to improve Somalia (and Somaliland) investment climate and business environment and integration in the international financial system. (Priority Area 2 of the MIP).
