About this project

<p class="ql-align-justify">The overall objective of the action is to promote food and nutrition security and food systems resilience in Nyaruguru, Gatsibo and Gakenke districts. This <span style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);">will be achieved through two specific objectives/outcomes;</span></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Outcome 1</strong>: Increased food production and incomes through inclusive and sustainable management of agroecosystems,</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Outcome 2</strong>: Enhanced nutrition and dietary intake&nbsp;among malnourished children under 5 years and pregnant and lactating women.</p><p class="ql-align-justify">The following outputs will contribute to the achievement of the above objectives;</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Output 1.1</strong>: Strengthened capacity of smallholder farmers to adopt climate-resilient agricultural practices,</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Output 1.2</strong>: Increased availability and access to quality agricultural inputs,</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Output 1.3</strong>: The capacities of farmers on post-harvest handling practices, smallholder aggregation&nbsp;and livelihood diversification are enhanced,</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Output 2.1</strong>: Appropriate maternal, infant, and young child nutrition (MIYCN) and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices at household level are promoted,</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Output 2.2</strong>: Strengthen d…
