About this project

<p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Overall objective:</strong> To contribute to sustainable livelihoods and food security in rural communities most affected by food insecurity, climate change and conflicts.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Specific Objective/Outcome 1:</strong> Sustainably increase productivity and profitability of smallholder agriculture and livestock nutritious short value chains using agro ecological practices adapted to climate change</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Output 1.1:</strong> Smallholder farmers (with focus on women and youth) in nutritious value chains organised, trained and informed. <strong>Output 1.2:</strong> Agricultural and livestock input availability and access and outreach to farmers enhanced. <strong>Output 1.3:</strong> knowledge and skills provided to young people on business opportunities along priority agricultural and livestock value chains.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Specific Objective/Outcome 2:</strong> Increase sustainable and decent jobs opportunities for both genders within the youth, including internally displaced persons (IDPs), people with disabilities (PwD), in rural and food insecure areas.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Output 2.1:</strong> Climate-resilient infrastructure rehabilitated or constructed.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Output 2.2:</strong> Decent job opportunities through cash for work created.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Output 2.3:</strong> Emergen…
