<p>This proposed project aims to tackle challenges in the forestry sector through adopting a holistic strategy that includes the restoration of degraded lands, creation of economic opportunities for local communities, reduction of deforestation rates and facilitation of legal, sustainable wood product trade and coordination of the EU Forestry Programme and Forest Partnership</p>
