Contract inherited from multiple actions, related to: WYDE Women's political participation Advancing Women¿s Political Participation and Decision-Making through Social Norms Change, Networking and Global Advocacy - Under the overall framework of the Global Team Europe Initiative (TEI) on Democracy, this EU Global Programme on Political Pluralism and Inclusiveness (POPI) will a be flagship action aimed at fostering functioning pluralistic, participatory, inclusive and representative democracies worldwide. It will comprise three inter-connected pillars on:(I) Women¿s Political Participation (WPP), aimed at achieving gender equality in political decision-making, by supporting global research, data collection, analysis and dissemination; building and supporting networks and knowledge-sharing platforms for more effective global advocacy; as well as piloting and levering concrete actions on the ground.(II) Youth Participation in Public Affairs (YPPA), aimed at strengthening youth participation in and around public life, both in politics as well as by engaging in non-partisan civic activism, monitoring institutions and democratic processes including, notably, through domestic election observation, and supporting the right to freedom of assembly and association, with a strong focus on women youth.
