UN Youth Office: Making meaningful youth engagement the norm

About this project

Contract related to: UN Youth Office: Making meaningful youth engagement the norm - The action aims to engage, connect and empower young people to increase their contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their communities and societies. The action will serve as a pilot action for the implementation of the Youth Action Plan and will strengthen the youth dimension across the external priorities of the European Commission and contribute to a stronger Europe in the World.  The action is built on the results of a participatory approach, including several rounds of consultations in the context of the preparation of the EU Youth Action Plan, and of this action. The action will develop further youth participation mechanisms in the implementation of the action, to ensure that the action adjusts to the needs of young people, increasing the impact and sustainability of the action.  The action will achieve four specific objectives: 1)     Increase impact and sustainability of outreach to and engagement with young people 2)     Strengthen engagement and participation of young people in policy-making at multilateral fora3)     Empower young people to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs4)     Increase the inclusivity of young people¿s contribution to the achievement of the SDGs
