About this project

Contract related to: Ship to Shore Rights in South-East Asia: Safe migration for decent work in the blue economy - The proposed action ¿Ship to Shore Rights in South-East Asia: Safe migration for decent work in the blue economy¿ aims to promote safe labour migration and decent work for a sustainable fish and seafood supply chain, including primary production (capture fishers and aquaculture) and post-harvest processing in South-East Asia. The proposed action will take a sectoral approach on fishing, aquaculture, and seafood processing work, while expanding coverage to include aquaculture. The whole-of-supply-chain approach will contribute to sustainable production, food security, and trade integration by investing in the protection of migrant workers in and from South-East Asia who are crucial to the sustainable growth of the fish and seafood supply chain. The proposed action will be implemented in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Thailand, and with relevant ASEAN sectoral bodies.
