About this project

Contract related to: Complementary Support (Technical Assistance) to the Fiji Climate Change Division for "Time to Act! Implementing the Climate Change Act" programme - The proposed action aims to contribute to Fiji¿s sustainable, inclusive and resilient low carbon development. More specifically, the action will facilitate the entry into force of the Climate Change Act, a comprehensive legal basis enacted in 2021 to support Fiji¿s sustainable development objectives, long-term climate ambition, net-zero emissions target, and commitment to protecting Fiji's environment, so that a conducive environment for the implementation of climate actions is created. The implmentation modalities entail a Sector Reform Performance Contract accompanied by a complementary support.
