About this project

The action is designed to materialise the third component of the 2022 Action Document ¿Budget Support for the development of Uzbekistan¿s agri-food sector and resilient rural livelihoods¿ (ACT-61294). It aims to contribute to the development of a sustainable, market-oriented, and inclusive agri-food system in Uzbekistan. It will do so by leveraging the opportunities created by the newly adopted Law on Agricultural Cooperatives and enabling smallholder farmers to engage more effectively in inclusive, market-oriented value chains.
