Contract related to: UMWIZERO : combler l'¿cart vers des solutions durables pour les refugies congolais des sites de Cishemere et Musenyi et des communaut¿s h¿tes - This action aims to contribute to alleviating protracted forced displacement in Sub-Saharan Africa by:1.Strengthening resilience and self-reliance of the forcibly displaced populations and host communities, in particular of women, persons with disabilities and children2.Providing inclusive and durable solutions for forcibly displaced populations, in particular of women, persons with disabilities and childrenIn the spirit of responsibility sharing, assistance will include supporting refugees in asylum countries, including by matching the pledges the concerned Governments made at the Global Refugee Forum, for instance on the inclusion of refugees in national and local development plans, and efforts to provide documentation for stateless refugees and their host communities. Assistance will also be provided to create conditions in countries of origin for voluntary return in safety and dignity when the conditions allow. The action will also support protection and durable solutions for IDPs in their own countries. Both in the cases of refugees and IDPs, the action will work with host communities, to seek to balance assistance to both displaced populations and host communities by providing services to both groups, thereby reducing communal tensions, and enhancing social cohesion.
