About this project

<p class="ql-align-justify">Direct Award Grant to the Department of Tourism. The <strong>overall objective (Impact)</strong> is to contribute to Malawi¿s sustainable development of the ecotourism sector.</p><p>The project intends to contribute to achieve specific objectives 1, 2 and 3, of the programme, in particular the following outputs: </p><ol><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>Output 1.2: Capacity of local communities to manage and own ecotourism ventures enhanced, especially for women and youth business owners; </li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>Output 1.3: Ecotourism attractions, products and services are certified and graded; </li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>Output 2.1: Capacities for coordinating ecotourism developments improved at all levels; </li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>Output 2.2: Research in the field of ecotourism strengthened; </li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>Output 2.3: Information management systems for ecotourism enhanced; </li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>Output 3.1: ICT based market oriented tools for awareness of Malawian tourism brand improved; </li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>Output 3.2: Access to key source markets (both local and internatio…
