Contract related to: Building Opportunities for Sustainable Trade (BOOST) – Component 2 of the programme Lao PDR – EU Assistance for Private Sector & Trade (LEAP) - The Laos ¿ EU Assistance for Private Sector & Trade (LEAP) initiative aims to foster sustainable and inclusive economic growth in Lao PDR through private sector-led development while strengthening economic ties between the EU and Laos. The action aligns with Priority Area 1 of the European Joint Programming Strategy / Multi-Annual Indicative Programme, focusing on Green and Inclusive Economy and the specific focal sector of Trade and Private Sector Development. Specifically, LEAP targets improving the business climate, encouraging responsible private investment, and increasing exports, contributing to the broader goals of the EU's trade and economic policies.LEAP¿s specific objectives are twofold: first, to support the implementation of gender-responsive trade and business reforms, as well as capacity-building initiatives that promote inclusive private sector-led growth and regional integration; and second, to increase trade between the EU and Lao PDR while contributing to attract more EU investment into the country.
