The Action aligns with the EU Global Gateway priorities of ¿Climate & Energy¿ and ¿Digital¿ by promoting secure land tenure, sustainable land use, and digital solutions for land administration. By strengthening tenure security, community participation, gender equality, capacities in environment and climate aspects, the action will create conducive conditions for sustainable agri-food systems, climate-smart agriculture, and rural transformation. The Action is also designed to address specific EU processes, including the compliance of EU Deforestation Regulations (EUDR) for the export of coffee, a major income generator for the country and for more than 5 million smallholder producers.
