(i) Control and prevention of Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD), (ii) Oral vaccination against Rabies in Turkey, (iii) Implementation of stock assessments in fisheries, (iv) Improving the awareness of food processing sector and farmers in terms of EU environmental and hygiene standards and IPARD support.AD 08b Facilitating Agricultural Recovery & Mitigating Earthquake Repercussions for Sustainability: This action aims to support the recovery and sustainable development of the severely earthquake-affected agricultural sector in Türkiye. It focuses on strengthening agricultural resilience, empowering vulnerable groups, and promoting a sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture economy. Through capacity-building, and provision of technical support, this action enhances the resilience of the agricultural sector, promotes inclusive recovery efforts, and fosters sustainable practices. It benefits Türkiye by ensuring agricultural continuity, improving livelihoods, and safeguarding food security. The action also promotes ecological balance, increases productivity, and improves food security in the target regions.Additionally, this action aligns with EU priorities by promoting the adoption of sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices.
