Building a more resilient health system (through Primary Health Care Revitalization) in Azerbaijan

About this project

<p>The Action aims to support Azerbaijan¿s primary healthcare (PHC) system in delivery of high quality PHC services, especially in areas that are rural, with lower economic development, mountainous, with high level of internally displaced population or a combination of these factors. The focus will therefore be on introducing new service delivery approaches at the PHC level through improved health workforce capacities and skills for delivery of PHC services enabled by new approaches in policy and regulatory environment that prioritises PHC strengthening and empowerment. In addition, the Action will support development/adoption of guidelines for PHC facilities, schools and Youth Houses to identify early adolescents and young people at the risk of developing mental disorders and address basic mental health disorders, providing psychosocial support to adolescent boys and girls</p>
