About this project
The program's objectives are to: (i) increase and improve access to water services and enhance resilience to the effects of climate change, focusing on urban centers where a national emergency has been declared owing to drought and water shortages caused by extreme water-related climatic events; (ii) boost efficiency in managing the supply and demand for the available water resources in the program's beneficiary cities, by building the capacity of water service providers; and (iii) help build preinvestment capacity with a view to facilitating projects with the potential to improve water service delivery in the program's beneficiary cities.
