About this project

The program's general objective is to support the GADMCP in its efforts to improve water and sanitation services inPortoviejo Canton, which will help achieve the objectives of the national government's "Water and Sanitation for All" program and improveenvironmental conditions in the canton as well as living conditions for its residents. Its specific objectives are to: (i) expand and improveaccess to water and sanitation services, taking into account the impacts of climate change; and (ii) improve the management of water andsanitation services through the implementation of nonrevenue water and energy efficiency programs, as well as operational and socialmanagement actions in the service areas slated for expansion.
