About this project
The partnership was created as a result a meeting during a delegation visit to Energy Europe exhibition. The partners completed a feasibility study as a result of the preparation phase, which sufficiently addressed the commercial, technical and development aspects of the projects. The partners are trying to get EKF to provide export credit guarantee for the Danish equipment. The idea behind the partnership is to establish a WtE plant at Kalimantan. Syntes will be responsible for delivery of technology and knowledge transfer, KLM will be responsible for financing. The project will also serve as some kind of a pilot project for the partners. If successful, the application of this new technology in Indonesia and the right PPP setup will provide a showcase for the partners for other applications of the technology in Indonesia.
