PSP HoA IV Engagement: Intergovernmental Authority on Development Peace and Security Division

About this project

The project will support Intergovernmental Authority on Development to enhance its capabilities of Conflict Early Warning and Response Mechanism (CEWARN) and its procedures for credible data collection, quality analysis and dissemination of early warning to the member states for timely response. As well, the project aims to support IGAD to improve/institutionalise its engagement in preventive diplomacy, mediation, and peace building. The project interventions among others will contribute towards addressing cross-border conflicts and instability as well as ensure a Whole-of-Government-based (WoG) engagement that balances the immediate needs of communities with long-term solutions to build peace and stabilisation across the IGAD region.
