About this project

Agricultural Business Initiative (aBi) Finance’s overall objective is to enhance green and inclusive growth of small-holder farmers, agribusinesses and greening of financial institutions in Uganda. To achieve this, aBi Finance enhances the green capacity of partner financial institutions and facilitates knowledge sharing and initiatives across the financial sector in Uganda. By aBi Finance having the needed capacity and expertise on green agribusiness financial products to offer, financial institutions can scale up their green and inclusive investments in the agriculture sector. Ultimately, farmers (including women, youth and refugees) and agribusinesses will have improved access to green finance for investing in climate adaptation and mitigation technologies and practices. This will increase the agriculture sector’s productivity and resilience to climate change.
