About this project

The CCC project aligns with Somaliland’s 2023 Vision and the upcoming National Development Plan III, contributing significantly towards a resilient and sustainable blue economy in the country. Key areas of focus include job creation, poverty reduction, clean energy, and development of a sustainable fisheries sector with special focus on reducing food loss/waste, which connect with the government’s pillars of economic growth and improved social and human development. The project aims to transform the fishery industry by accelerating access to sustainable cold chain solutions for the fishery industry and providing increased employment opportunities for especially IDPs, youths and women.
