About this project

WFP’s resilience-building approach delivers an integrated package of multisectoral assistance at the household, community and systems level, that seeks to enhance climate-sensitive food systems while strengthening livelihoods and building human capital. The multisectoral package of assistance includes Food Assistance for Assets (FFA), Nutrition, Smallholder Agriculture Market Support (SAMS), School Feeding, Lean Season Support, and capacity strengthening activities. This intervention package follows a territorial programming approach focusing on the most shock-prone areas of Niger, is implemented within village clusters and systematically relies on community-based participatory planning (CBPP).
