About this project

The DEDI 2024-2028 objective is ‘increasing and effective dialogue and partnerships between Egypt and Denmark leading to innovation, technology adoption, and solutions related to climate change and green growth, and climate, Peace security’. While the objective focuses on the role of DEDI as a platform for dialogue and exchange, the three component outcomes are closely aligned to DAPP’s overall vision of a better life for young people in the Arab and Africa regions. These three outcomes are: 1. Youth participants demonstrating innovative green technologies and business models for adoption in the sustainable fashion and design industries (Component 1) 2. Youth have an increased understanding of environmental challenges and climate change and are increasingly able to advocate and influence for change (Component 2) 3. Increased knowledge on the interlinkages between youth, climate, peace and security inform climate resilience strategies (Component 3) All three components will adopt an implementation modality of dialogue and mutual learning between Egyptian and Danish partners as a basis for stimulating innovation, sharing knowledge, and seeking solutions for common challenges.
