About this project

The objectives aim to develop innovative and scalable rainwater management models tailored to urban and rural challenges, incorporating region-specific solutions for erratic rainfall and flooding. Localized rainwater harvesting systems will be implemented in high-runoff urban areas to enhance water retention and reduce groundwater dependency. Community engagement will focus on raising awareness of water conservation, climate change impacts, and sustainable practices, complemented by capacity-building programs to equip stakeholders with the skills for system maintenance and expansion. Additionally, behavioral change initiatives will integrate water conservation into education, public outreach, and livelihoods, fostering a cultural shift toward sustainable water management.
