About this project
The objective of the project is to contribute to the long-term climate resilience of smallholder farmers to future-proof coffee production and promote socioeconomic development in the Rwenzori region of Uganda. This will be achieved through the adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices, ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA), and diversification of livelihoods. The project particularly focuses on enhancing the role of women and youth within the coffee value chain, increasing household income, and strengthening local communities’ adaptive capacity to climate risks.
