DIBE 2025 - Bentax - Establishing Agroforestry Collaboration with Coffee Cooperative in Uganda

About this project

Bentax seeks to establish local partnerships in Uganda to implement agroforestry with coffee cooperatives. This initiative will combine coffee production with sustainable agroforestry practices, contributing to local employment, ecosystem restoration, and climate resilience. Furthermore, the project aims to connect the local coffee farmers with the international carbon markets. 80% of the carbon revenue generated flows directly back to the farmers.
