About this project

Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) are classified as controlled substances under Annex-C, Group-I of the Montreal Protocol and therefore, have production and consumption restrictions and would have to be phased-out for controlled use applications. Peru, as a Party to the Montreal Protocol, is mandated to phase out consumption of HCFCs in line with the Montreal Protocol phase-out schedule.Peru through implementation of HPMP Stage-II will meet the 2025 compliance targets as per the accelerated phase
