About this project
This Project aims to reduce emissions from post-harvest losses, that constitute a significant proportion of emissions generated through waste in Kenya. Kenya’s updated NDC outlines the importance of delivering Kenya’s Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) Strategy and includes a specific target for reducing post-harvest losses that the project will contribute to. The Food and Agricultural Organisation estimates post-harvest losses in Kenya at more than 40% due to poor harvest and handling techniques;
