About this project

The goal of this proposed NAP Readiness Project is to establish a resilient and inclusive national adaptation planning ecosystem in Mozambique, enabling transformational, long-term shifts towards climate resilience. This framework will integrate climate adaptation into national, regional, and sectoral development planning, strengthen institutional capacities and mobilize sustainable financing for prioritized climate actionsTo combat pressing climate challenges, Mozambique has formulated a series of strategic policies that prioritize resilience and adaptation across vulnerable sectors.. Together, these policies establish a comprehensive approach to enhance Mozambique’s adaptive capacity and align with international climate commitments:1. National Strategy for Adaptation and Mitigation of Climate Change (ENAMMC), 2013-2025: 2. National Adaptation Plan (NAP): 3.
