About this project

The project is to enable China to fulfill its commitments under the UNFCCC to prepare its first biennial transparency report (1BTR) by the end of 2024, as required by the Paris Agreement and its implementing rules. Building on the experience of submitting four National Communications (NCs) and three Biennial Update Reports (BURs), the project will expand and consolidate its network of contacts with stakeholders to organically include entities from various sectors, including governments, universities, research institutions, industry associations, private enterprises, individuals and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Through subcontracts and consultancy services, the project will further improve the quality of the expected deliverable, the 1BTR, as well as the professional and technical capacity of our implementation team to respond to the review by international experts.
