Accelerating Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC 3.0) and promoting inclusive resilience in Nature, Climate and Energy (NCE) in Cambodia.

About this project

The proposed new Initiation Plan is (i) to support the preparation of the national climate pledges (Nationally Determined Contributions 3.0) and other climate strategies, while also creating synergies and platforms to effectively implement the current NCE pledges, and (ii) to provide a sufficient timeline for meaningful development and transition to the NCE portfolio, which is the instrument offers a new modality for UNDP Cambodia to engage with government and development partners on issues at a strategic level with focus on systematic perspectives to generate multiple options and maximize the impact of our work. For instance, the Circular Economy portfolio has been chosen as a pilot for portfolio design with strong support from CO’s management and guidance from the regional team, which will require time to complete the process by 2025.
