At COP26, Viet Nam committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 and endorsed the Global Coal to Clean Power Transition Statement. To support these ambitious goals, on December 14, 2022, the Government of Viet Nam and the International Partners Group, which includes Japan, established the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP). This partnership aims to foster a long-term collaboration to facilitate Viet Nams shift toward low-emission, climate-resilient development.
