About this project
The White Gold Initiative (WGI) is a four-year program (2024-2028) launched by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFALI) to boost the manufacturing and export of environmentally friendly, value-added wool, cashmere, and leather products. By supporting the operationalization of the WGI through a multistakeholder coordination platform, this initiative will promote policy coherence, strengthen trade and value-added exports, and support the development of innovative financing solutions to bridge the gap in private finance, thereby catalyzing industry growth and innovation.
