About this project
The project goal is to make Yemen more resilient to the impacts of climate change through robust national and sub-national adaptation planning, improved institutional capacity, and the implementation of gender-responsive, inclusive, and climate-resilient development policies, while fostering synergies with peacebuilding efforts by promoting social cohesion, engaging conflict-affected communities, and ensuring local ownership in adaptation measures. The objective of this GCF readiness grant is to establish the NAP process in Yemen and strengthen the institutional coordination, policy, technical and financial framework capacities in key sectors with conflict sensitive approaches for adaptation planning.
