About this project

The intention of UNDP + Government + coalition of actors in Mozambique is to leverage our unique mandate, capacities, and partnerships and our evolving role as facilitators to promote a more inclusive, resilient, and diversified economic environment.The portfolio focuses on transformative changes in the economic system, supporting inclusive economic empowerment and sustainable development in the provinces of Manica, Niassa, and Cabo Delgado. The portfolio addresses structural barriers, such as limited economic diversification, fragile private sector ecosystems and a lack of quality jobs, by promoting inclusive, regionally responsive and future-oriented economic opportunities.
