About this project

This Initiation Plan represents the first step towards a comprehensive local development project, which will combine technical expertise, institutional support, and investment implementation.UNDP will pilot an integrated model of technical assistance that covers:(a) the development and validation of technical documentation, execution and supervision of construction works; the application of SES and the promotion of transparency, inclusion, gender equality, and sustainability and;(b) strengthening municipal resilience and adaptive capacities through enhanced climate-resilient planning, inter-municipal coordination and exchange of good practices, and strategic positioning to access and leverage future funding opportunities.
