About this project

The objective of the GEF PPG is to develop the project concept into a full project: Sustainable Construction Uruguay: Strategic platform for the development of a national policy on sustainable, resilient, and low-emission construction in Uruguay. As described in the project concept, this project aims to develop a national policy and enabling framework that addresses sustainability throughout the entire lifecycle of construction projects, including climate change mitigation and adaptation, resource use optimization and efficiency, and biodiversity preservation. The objective is to formulate an inclusive and sustainable construction public policy in Uruguay and mobilize investments for its implementation.
