About this project
the proposed partnership project aims to drive a gender-transformative shift in rural value chains by by recognizing and amplifying women’s roles as key economic actors. It will do so by strengthening women’s technical, managerial, and leadership capacities; enabling access to productive resources, finance, and decentralized renewable energy (DRE) technologies; and fostering market-led, inclusive value chains through strategic private sector partnerships. The project emphasizes convergence across public programmes and private investments to unlock financing, scale innovation, and institutionalize gender-responsive approaches within NRLM’s systems. By leveraging agri-tech solutions, evidence-based learning, and multi-stakeholder collaboration, the initiative seeks to catalyze systemic change thereby enhancing women’s participation, resilience, and income security while advancing inclusive and climate-resilient rural economic growth.
