About this project
include strengthening national coordination led by the Ethiopia Disaster Risk Management Commission (EDRMC), developing a National Disaster Risk Hub to centralize and share data, and expanding hydrometeorological observation in high-risk areas. Improved communication methods—such as SMS alerts, call centers, and community-based systems—will ensure vulnerable populations receive timely information. Standardized anticipatory action frameworks, integrated with social protection measures, will build resilience and better protect Ethiopia’s most at-risk communities
