About this project

The C3 Labs project will pilot this methodology in Kenya and Thailand, focusing on the food-biodiversity-climate nexus. The countries have a supportive policy and institutional context, while at the same time recognize continuing challenges with advancing effective collaboration on the nexus. In each country, the project will map key institutions and initiatives and then select from them 30 Fellows — individuals strategically positioned and motivated to accelerate transformation within their institutions —to participate in a Collaboration Lab spread over the course of a year, designed to strengthen trust and relationships across institutions, build capacity for systems thinking and collaborative leadership, co-design cross-sector initiatives, and accelerate organizational change. To ensure gender-responsive outcomes, the selection process for Fellows will actively prioritize gender balance, aiming to elevate underrepresented voices. Gender dynamics will also inform Lab design, focusing on how systemic collaboration can address institutional and cultural barriers linked to gender.
