About this project

The Project Preparation Grant (PPG) will support the development of a technically robust, implementation-ready project document for the proposed Climate Adaptation in Rewa Delta (CARE) Project. The preparatory process will refine the project’s technical design, implementation arrangements, financing plan, results framework, safeguards, gender considerations, and monitoring and evaluation framework. It will also facilitate stakeholder consultations and the technical assessments required to validate the proposed combination of climate-resilient infrastructure, ecosystem restoration, institutional strengthening, and community-based adaptation measures. The PPG will therefore establish the evidence, partnerships, and operational arrangements necessary for the CARE Project to secure approval and deliver sustainable climate adaptation benefits in the Rewa River Catchment.
