About this project

There are over 1.5 million forcibly displaced from Venezuela residing in Peru. Since 2018, UNHCR has been addressing the escalating needs of refugees, asylum-seekers, migrants, and the local population. UNHCR, in close collaboration with the government, UN agencies, and its partners, implements interventions in Lima and eight regions of the country, providing humanitarian assistance and protection at national, regional, and local levels.
