About this project

The Agency will continue to provide critical shelter support and NFIs to displaced and vulnerable households, including up to 50,000 households with fire-retardant family tents, framing kits, emergency shelter kits, mattresses, mats, blankets, kitchen sets and clothing. UNRWA also plans to provide cash transfers to up to 20,000 vulnerable households to enable the purchase of sealing-off kits and other winterization materials through local markets. To promote more sustainable solutions, the Agency will prioritise the repurposing of critical sites into service delivery installations and implement measures to decongest its collective shelters, guided by vulnerability assessments and needs-based assistance.
