About this project
UNRWA will provide food assistance to 10,900 vulnerable Palestine refugee households (60,000 individuals) across the West Bank. Families facing food insecurity due to abject poverty will receive regular monthly food assistance, while households affected by new shocks, including settler attacks, ISF operations, displacement or destruction of productive assets, will be supported with three months’ emergency food vouchers to stabilise basic consumption and prevent negative coping mechanisms. The Agency will also provide 6,453 short-term cash-for-work (CfW) opportunities for vulnerable Palestine refugees, including those in camps affected by violence and movement restrictions. CfW roles will include skilled and unskilled positions supporting service delivery, community infrastructure and on-the-job training, with priority given to female-headed households, families with high dependency ratios and persons with disabilities.
