About this project

As may be required to meet the food needs of displaced persons hosted in UNRWA DESs during emergencies, the Agency will provide two nutritious meals daily through community kitchens established at key locations, including the Siblin Vocational Training Centre in Saida, Nahr el-Bared camp, and the Beqaa Valley. These meals will meet minimum dietary requirements of 2,100 kilocalories per person per day, in accordance with Sphere Standards, ensuring nutritional adequacy, food safety, dietary diversity, and cultural appropriateness.
